I went a little nutty over this Butterfly Stamp Set! I sat down to make a few cards to show you and ended up with a month’s worth and I couldn’t stop! Normally I like butterflies, but not this much! This stamp set was just too easy to keep creating with.
My husband even came to my table to talk to me while I was making this card and put his two cents in so I let him have at it. He put the washi tape on(Holy crud, I love that stuff!!) and created the “cut out” for the sentiment stamp. How about that? He got all fancy and schtuff! Now, will he admit it? Probably not …unless you ask him, he he.
Now if you’re wondering about the middle of the butterflies and how that was “colored”, here’s what I did. I heat embossed them first with versamark ink and white embossing powder. Then I took a sponge with white craft ink and just lightly moved it over the butterflies. And before you ask…… Yes, I admit it. I used contraband. I couldn’t help it… they were just staring at me, waiting to be used. The silver embellishments are not SU! GASP!!! They were in one of my drawers, so I have no idea where they came from. Sorry folks. But below the pic is a list of items I used to create this happy card. Enjoy!
