Hey party people! ha ha ha… I’ve got lots o’coffee going on today! Woohoo… Anyhow, this adorable card was made in one of my library classes last month. It’s a cute little thank you using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlit Dies.
It actually came together pretty fast. I embossed the paper first in the Big Shot machine using the brick embossing folder. By the way, you’ll want to use the extra thick white card stock because this is a one layer card and you don’t want it to be flimsy.
Next, I stamped the three different colors as a background. You see how it didn’t stamp in-between the bricks? I should have stamped it first probably. Maybe that was another day I had too much coffee?
Then we use the Big Shot machine again to cut out the swirly thingamajig’s. That’s a technical term by the way. You’ll want to glue those down using either liquid glue, fine tip glue, or glue dots and roll up the glue dots so that they are really little. If you do use the multipurpose glue (which is my favorite by the way), make sure you use hardly any at all so that big clumps of glue don’t come squeezing out the sides.
Then we stamped the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo. Use your scissors to cut up the individual words., Looks like a typewriter, doesn’t it? Reminds me of a ransom note, ha ha. The list below is all the supplies I used with this project. You can click on the images to see them closer or purchase!
