Modern Christmas Card

By | December 15, 2015

Can you believe we are a little over a week away from Christmas? I haven’t even really started to Christmas shop yet. I’ve been putting it off. How about you? I never ever this far behind but with the big move this year to the new house, I just can’t seem to get ahead.  Besides it’s 60 degrees in New England which is not conducive to me getting in the holiday spirit!  I need cold and snow.  I hope you are all doing better than me in that area ha ha.

Today’s project is a more modern take on the Christmas card. First I use the designer series paper and added a strip of crushed Curry cardstock on top is only an inch wide. Then I decided to punch out the tree shape.  Originally I had thought to leave it that way but decided I like the look of whisper White cardstock behind instead.
I added some washy tape and then propped it up on Stampin dimensionals for the front of the card.
I very last step in this card was to add a stamp to which I decided to keep an boss using the gold embossing powder.
