Making Bags with the Gift Bag Punch Board!

By | November 18, 2015

I have finally started to use my Gift Bag Punch Board!   You guys I’m not going to lie.   It took me a minute to get used of this punch board. If you have not used it yet, I would highly suggest starting with scrap paper or cardstock. It took me about three tries before I got it.  Now, I am a bag making fool.

Once I got started, I couldn’t stop. I think I whipped out 20 bags ALL at once.   Seriously! Not kidding.  To me, the most confusing part was punching and scoring the sides of the bag. If you use our envelope or box punch board, all of the sides are even. With a bag that is not the case. Once I remembered that I was scoring the front of the bag- then the side, back of the bag then the side- I was in good shape. Now I can’t stop!! I love the bags. They’re adorable, fast and of course we can color coordinate cards to match. Whoop Whoop!

Then move the scored line you just made to the start, punch and then score the other side of your bag. Don t forget to score horizontally around the triangle.
