Great Card for A Teenage Girl

By | November 3, 2014

www.angelasinklink.comHi Friends.  Today’s project is a great card for a teenage girl.  That’s what I had in mind when creating it. In fact, I thought that some of the cards from my Project Life by Stampin’ Up! kit would be perfect. I used the kit Everyday Adventure. Okay, I say teenager, but really I am thinking of my 13 year old niece who is more like 13 going on 21.  Ugh- why do they have to grow up so fast?? And is 13 really a TEENAGER?  Oy vey!

So to start, I used my Melon Mambo card stock as the base and then cut layers of black and white.  I embossed the black layer using my Big Shot Machine and the Alphabet Textured Embossing Folder.

Next, after adding some layers and Silver 1/8″ Ribbon, I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch on a layer of Melon Mambo.  Do you have this punch?  I definitely think it’s a staple in my craft room.
