Father’s Day

By | June 7, 2016

Father’s day is almost upon us friends.  This card features a stamp set that has been carried over into the new catalog from the old catalog.  YAY!  It’s very very versatile.  So let’s see what I did here, shall we?

Fathers Day Card

The first thing I did was stamp a strip of paper 1 1/8″ x 4 1/2″ and I cut it on an angle.   The tools were stamped in Basic Gray and the cardstock behind it is from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper pack.  These paper packs are so fantastic, I’ve become such a huge fan this past year!!

Next, before I inked up the muscle man, I used a post-it note and placed it over his legs so they wouldn’t show.  I just wanted the top half of him to show 🙂

So then I inked him up in Black ink and stamped him in the middle of my favorite cardstock- Whisper White!

Next, I stamped the sentiments above and below with basic gray ink.

The background of this card was created with Basic Gray ink and the “Hardwood” stamp set.  LOVE IT!
