DSC00820Hey guys!  It’s almost February and that means it’s time for another newsletter and giveaway!  If you’re not on my mailing list yet- you’ll want to get on it fast.  This month I am giving away an envelope punch board!  FREE!!!  Just for being on my mailing list!

It also means that many people are thinking about “Valentines Day” right now.  It’s not necessarily my thing- but this is a great card for Valentines or any anniversary or special occasion!  You’ll never guess how easy it was.

This paper is part of Sale-A-Bration and only available until February 15th.  Once I layered it on top of Basic Black card stock and then on top of White, I got to decorating.

I took my Uniball Signo White Gel pen and just drew lines around the outer edges.

I stamped the sentiment in Archival Black ink.   I chose this ink specifically because it has a really deep, sharp shade of black.  Sometimes you get an ink that kinda is faded or grey looking.  But this ink is really dark and it’s quickly becoming my favorite.

Just be careful because the ink takes a little longer to dry.  HOWEVER- that being said, I knew I wanted to emboss some white flowers on here, and when we emboss, we use our embossing buddy, don’t we?  Nod your heads together now.

Embossing buddy’s are essential when heat setting because it gets rid of any lint or fingerprints.  Know what else it does?  Dries that Archival ink.  Say wha?  Oh yeah.

Just tap it over any wet ink and presto!  Dry.  Now, tell me I give the best tips!  Ha ha ha

Stamp the flowers and heat set with white embossing powder and your handy dandy heat tool.  #Gorg  (In case you don’t have teenagers in your house, that’s slang for gorgeous)

Below you’ll find the list of products I used to create this card.  If you want to see more about them or order, just click on the images.  And don’t forget to get on my mailing list before next week for your chance to win a brand new envelope punch board!
