DIY Mothers Day Card

Making a DIY Mothers Day Card couldn’t be easier.  This card required 1 sheet of cardstock, ink and stamps.  Your kids could even get in on this action.  And imagine the color combinations?

Once I cut a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock in half and folded it, I took a 4″ x 5 1/4″ cardstock piece to stamp on.  The reason I did this was- if I didn’t like the way it came out, I could turn it over and use the other side, rather than grab another piece of cardstock.  See?  We can “think green” when making cards!

The best way for me to describe to you what I did was to make a video.  Check it out below!

The finishing touch was the strip of black cardstock down the left hand side and then a piece of wash tape on top.  Don’t forget the rhinestones!  Bling Bling!

And we can’t leave the envelope naked, now can we?  Imagine Mom’s delight when she see’s a matching envelope.  (Us Moms love that stuff).  It’s the little details that make it fun.
