Create a Monotone Colored “Man” Card

By | February 9, 2016

DSC00825Most of the time, I’m not into cards with lots of different colors. In fact, I really love cards that only use 2 colors.

To me, it just brings attention to the sentiment that you stamp or the card design itself.

I’ve never been one to like lots of epherma (is that the word?) on my cards.

It’s just not me, not my style.  Same with my house.  If I could, my entire house would look like a pottery barn catalog.

Or even like something Joanna Gaines designed.

Have you ever seen the show “Fixer Upper“? Holy crud- I love that show and the couple on it is hilarious.

But the best part is watching Joanna design stuff.  She’s fantastic- it’s like old farm house meets pottery barn.  Lots of clean and classic design.

That’s kind of what this card looks like to me.

I have to admit, I have not been one to purchase a lot of the Designer series paper stacks in the past.  But I am loving (LOVING) those bad boys in the past year.  I can’t keep them in my craft room.

They are so versatile for all papercrafting and the designs on them are adorbs!

This card can be used for anyone- even a boy- don’t you think? it’s not really “frilly”, it doesn’t have any glitter or sparkles (oh the horror) and it’s very classic.

Plus, there are no flowers and nothing pink.  Walaa- the epitome of a “man” card!

Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time, remember to…

Think It!  Ink It!
