Balloon Celebration Stampin Up
Back on this blog post, I showed you how to use catalogs to get a start on your card making. Whether it’s to create the exact same card, or use it as a starting point. Today’s post is another example of that. I am using the stamp set Balloon Celebration from Stampin Up on page 24 of the 2015-16 Annual Catalog.
(If you do not have a catalog yourself, please click here)
Isn’t this card adorable? I took it straight from the catalog. The only difference was the background gold foil polka dots. I didn’t have the newer paper so I used my retired stash. I’m sure you all have tons of paper laying around just waiting to be used, right? Use it up, I say!
The balloon was stamped using the gold Wink of Stella pen. I just colored directly onto the stamp using my pen and then stamped it. Isn’t that a cool idea? It really makes it stand out and sparkle in person. Then I took that same pen and went over the word “Champagne”.
If you really want to make your life easier, I highly suggest the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch. And who doesn’t need more balloons in their life, right? I find myself using this punch ALL THE TIME (as you will see below) not just with the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set.
This is the punch that coordinates! Isn’t it awesome?
Below are more card samples using this same stamp set. I did a live broadcast on Facebook, creating these stinking cute cards that you can watch below.
