I am in such a great mood today! Yesterday, I went to my kids after school program and volunteered to do cards with them as part of my 26 random acts of kindness in honor of the victims of the Sandy Hook School shooting. I didn’t know anyone there and although they live relatively close to me (about an hour and a half away), I wanted to do something to help make this world a better place. So, I joined up with lots of other people to do 26 random acts of kindness. I came up with the idea of doing this because I read that one of the victims, Emilie Parker, was a huge fan of making cards. And what better way to give back than to teach other kids how to make them. I used some old and new stamp sets and the kids had a blast. They were so creative. Here are a few snapshots of the event. I hope this will inspire you to participate.
And on another topic, Matthew has done another one of his reviews. If you missed his review on the “Dude, You’re Welcome Kit”, click here.
Today he is reviewing the “Welcome Kit” from My Paper Pumpkin. I got a kick out of how he is trying to describe “huffing” on the stamp sets to get them to stick to the acrylic block. And Matthew would LOVE to hear your comments or feedback! Enjoy
Thanks for stopping by!
